Quarried from various regions in Portugal, Portuguese Limestone was formed over 50 million years ago and is characterised by darker veining alongside fossilised plants and animal life. In terms of aesthetic appeal, Portuguese Limestone is known for its natural beauty and versatility.

The unique characteristics of Portuguese Limestone, including colour and texture, are determined by a variety of environmental factors. The unique texture and veining patterns of the limestone add to its visual appeal, creating a sense of depth and dimension.
