How to choose a bathroom brand

Dozens of brands means plenty of choice, and the right one depends on your room, your style, and what matters most to you. Here’s a simple way to narrow it down.

Start with the room

Measure your bathroom and note where the door, window, and radiator sit. Compact cloakrooms and small en-suites usually suit slimline furniture and space-saving WCs, while bigger rooms leave space for freestanding baths and larger vanity units. Photos and measurements help us point you to ranges that make sense for your space.

Decide what matters most

Do you need storage, a walk-in shower, a statement bath, or just a fresh look on a sensible budget? Brands tend to be strongest in different areas, so knowing your priority tells us where to look first.

Pick a style and finish

Modern, traditional, or somewhere in between? Choosing a finish early, such as chrome, brushed brass, or matt black, makes it easier to match taps, showers, mirrors, and accessories.

Look for ranges that go together

Many brands design furniture, basins, WCs, taps, and accessories to coordinate. Sticking to one range, or choosing carefully across two, helps the room look finished. Sizes and fittings still need checking, so share your shortlist with your installer before you order.

See it before you decide

Photos only show so much. Visit our Chatham showroom to compare finishes and sizes, or download brochures to browse at home. We’ll talk through the options, though your installer should confirm the final details.

Talk to your installer early

We supply products but don’t offer installation, so you’ll need your own plumber or fitter. We recommend speaking to your bathroom fitter as early as possible, ideally before placing your order. They can help ensure your chosen products are suitable for your space and that important details, such as plumbing positions, measurements, water pressure and installation requirements, are considered from the outset.

Ask us which brand suits you

Not sure where to start? Tell us about your room and what you’d like to change, and we’ll point you to brands worth a closer look.
